International size guide
Second-hand pieces often come from different countries — a “Medium” on one label is not always the same as another. Use this guide as a starting point, then compare with the measurements we list (or message us on WhatsApp if you need help).
Measure the garment, not just the tag
Vintage labels, global donation streams, and stretchy knits can all make printed sizes unreliable. Lay the item flat, measure bust and waist where noted below, and allow a little ease for comfort — especially on oversized or boxy cuts.
Women's tops & jerseys
Approximate equivalencies for sweaters, jerseys, and knit tops. Bust and waist are body-guide ranges in centimetres — always check the actual listing size when available.

Understanding fit
Thrift knits are rarely a perfect “standard” fit. These silhouettes show how cut affects how a piece wears — compare with how you like your clothes to sit on your shoulders and hips.
Fitted
Tapers at waist; follows the body. Size up if you prefer room to layer.
Boxy
Straight sides, minimal waist shaping. Shoulder width drives the fit.
Oversized
Extra room in body and sleeves. Often wears smaller than the tag suggests.

Asian, UK, and US labels on the same rail
A UK 12 jersey, a US M knit, and an Asian L top can all land near the same measurements — or not. When in doubt, ask for flat bust and length on WhatsApp before you buy. We would rather answer twice than have you disappointed once.
