How do I buy? Do you deliver?
Browse the shop, add what you love to your cart, and checkout on the site. We are based in
Lilongwe — cash on delivery or a safe meet-up in town can usually be arranged once you are
happy with your order. Message us on WhatsApp to confirm your area, timing, and any special
arrangements. We keep it simple and friendly.
Can I reserve an item?
Each listing is usually one piece only — when it is gone, it is gone. We cannot hold items
indefinitely because someone else may be ready to buy. If you are serious about a piece,
message us on WhatsApp as soon as you can and we will do our best to help you complete the
order quickly and fairly.
What does the item condition description mean?
We describe condition honestly — from excellent to fairly worn. The condition is reflected in the price — lower prices usually mean heavier wear, moderate prices indicate good condition, and higher prices reflect excellent quality pieces. If
you want more detail on a specific item, ask on WhatsApp before you buy.
Are prices in Malawi Kwacha?
Yes. Every price on Kaunjika is shown in Malawi Kwacha (MWK) — no confusing dollar signs or
hidden currency tricks. What you see on the listing is what we discuss at checkout.
Can I return items?
Because each piece is unique second-hand stock, we generally do not accept returns once an
item has been delivered or collected — unless we made a clear mistake in the listing (for
example wrong item or a major flaw not shown). Please ask questions and check photos before
you buy; we want you to feel confident, not surprised.
How often do you upload new items?
We add fresh pieces whenever we find quality stock — there is no fixed schedule, but new
listings appear as often as we can curate them. If you see something you love, do not wait too
long; popular sizes and colours tend to go quickly. Follow the shop page or message us on
